although they say haze is ps3 only in 07 ..I bet this game is a time exclusive but never the less it looks hot.. and reading about the gameplay that sounds hot too

Yeah, it says "lead console" which means it is not cancelled for 360 and PC. But being the lead console is huge considering the quality of this game and the fact that the first release usually sells more. Oblivion didn't sell as well for the PS3 and I doubt Warfighter 2 or Rainbow six will either. Haze should. We'll see. I'm not the biggest fan of FPS on consoles but after Resistance I'm enjoying them at least. The Orange Box should be very exciting as well.

Also, Resident Evil 4 barely outsold the GC version when it was ported to the PS2. I'd guess that if that game had originally been a PS2 game, it would have been up there with the other top titles of its generation (6 Million+? 7?). Just another example. It's an especially important time frame because it happens to encompass Christmas.

That's a good example. Combined on the PS2 and GC it sold 3.52 million, about the same as RE3 on the PS1. Seeing as how it's considered the best RE game, I expect it would have sold more if it was just a PS2 game. Re1 and RE2 sold more than 5 million each on the PS1.

Oh, and URNotE, I thought you were crazy at first but you presented some descent evidence that gave me hope.  Great job predicting this before any official announcements.

Let me get this straight; You're saying RE4 would have sold more if it was just a PS2 title?
