While I could be wrong, I wouldn't be surprised if third party publishers were trying to pressure Sony into cutting the price of the PS-Vita to spur sales ... I wouldn't expect many of their teams to have abandoned the PS-Vita yet, and their work on the 3DS at this point in time would mostly be theoritical, but they may have already communicated an intent to switch the platform of these games if Sony doesn't act quickly to spur sales in Japan.
