I'm waiting for a snow like that in Ohio.
Back in 1978, there was a blizzard that dumped ~15ft of snow in central Ohio in the drifts. I talk to my family about it once in awhile, because they lived through it. Very scary stuff, especially for a society as technologically-needy as America is.

My brother has a co-worker that was in the national guard at the time. Its an absolute miracle that only 50 people died. He talked about how some people burned all wooden furniture in their houses just to stay warm. Heck, today few people even have wooden furniture or fireplaces in which to burn it safely.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
