Collections and HD remakes are a waste of money and resources. Simply put with the money spent porting and upgrading the games a whole new game could be started. Unless you are talking direct ports buts those would still cost money. I have to say collections are alright maybe a Mass Effect collection.
But all in all I'd say this is a new generation, we want new games. Collections and remakes will also hurt sales for new IP and new titles which deserve the sales and many people would miss out on amazing new games. Developers and publishers could even cancel amazing franchises due to low sales.salesmen
