This really pains me to see that many people (this goes to many nations) nowadays have lost respect for the resources that they use. Uranium and other radioactive material are produced only during supernovae, the ending life cycles of gigantic stars tens of thousands of times the size of our sun. You will never come across the conditions required to naturally produce uranium elsewhere. It is quite amazing that we actually have such radioactive material here on earth, proof of these massive stars that lived probably millions of years ago and since turned into neutron stars or a black holes.
Yet what do we do with that limited amount of material that we have here on earth, point it at each other and incite fear, rather than further improve our knowledge or use it for the better of humanity. Truly a facepalm to mankind.
