We can only wait and see, but I think most people will see the Wii U as a cross-over console, and so won't sell mega amounts (like 50-60mil LT). Because of this it'll be in a generation of its own. Just like the PS2 was! Right? Because the PS2 launched about 12-18 months beforehand (depending on territory). On top of that, the Xbox was twice as powerful as the PS2 and the Gamecube nearly as much, so everyone saw the PS2 as a stop-gap to the real generati-BLAAAAAAGH
