Like I said in another topic, delaying even further the release of a console, be it the PS4 or the X720, would be like delaying a pit stop on F1, or Nascar or Indy to you, my Master Chief avatar friends: even though your times seem OK, the more you strech your stint, the bigger the chances you end up eating dust in the end.
It's basic market strategy that Nintendo knew with the 3DS, Sony knew with the PS2, every electronics company with half a brain knows and that's why they release early upgrades (It's not only Apple you know) to their products no matter the sales.
