In other news 45k people have already backed Double Fine's adventure game.
But I can see where the author is coming from after reading some of the comments. By donating a couple of dollars people want it to run on anything from Win 8 app store to open source on Linux. I hope Double Fine doesn't come to regret their decision to use Kickstarter.
