So long as they deliver in the way they did with ICO and SOTC I'll be happy. I am worried though that they are trying something too hard to achieve within a game environment. |
Right except generally speaking Gears of War, Uncharted and Mass Effect all had better critical reception and FAR better sales than Ico and SotC. While other studios are putting out entire trilogies that are better received and selling better, Team Ico isn't putting out a single game.
You can't take such a short term view. Yes if The Last Guardian comes out and is great then hey brilliant. But what if it ends up being their last game because of how inefficient they are? Not so brilliant then is it. The industry is no where near as forgiving as it used to be. If The Last Guardian gets overhyped by next-gen because it comes out too late and doesn't get enough sales then say goodbye to Team Ico.
