2. The original Mario galaxy sold 10 milllion, the second is close to 7 million, Skyward Sword could have done better, but it's because of M+ adoption, and the game isn't as good as many hoped. Still, the core userbase is there, the casual userbase hardly cares about Zelda or 3D Mario, and they will be the ones that remember those games. If they don't remember the original Galaxy, it's sure LBP or any of the Ratchet games won't be remembered.

4. Saying Halo and Uncharted won't be remembered was stupid. Just an example:
What if Uncharted 2 wasn't created? Do you think Uncharted 1 will be remembered as much? I doubt it.
EDIT: Also, Halo is as much of a casual game as Mario.
