I'm sorry if I'm dumb or a soulless monster/Monstrous soul because I don't want to donate.

I'm also sorry that Double Fine gets ~1 mil just for wanting to make a fucking game that we know nothing about.  I hope those who did donate are happy.  I don't care if they're the best developer on the planet, it's foulish to just donate blindly.  How much it costs is pointless.  We haven't even see a prototype in motion.
