Final Fantasy 13-2 demonstrates some silly trends in RPGs nowadays

I find it hard to think they could make a remake of FFVII (or FFVI for that matter) and change the story or gameplay system. A graphical improvement is all that is needed. What did they do with the DS remakes of earlier FF games?

 

On subject, I did not know of this monster training thing, acutally sounds interesting, just a shame I turned off the demo at 'quicktime events', Cringed at that.
