I disagree. I prefer a game like The witcher 2 over Skyrim any day. Sandbox games are always great at the start but after an admittedly long while they tend to become boring and fizzle out. A good story driven game keeps my attention to the end, and usually encourages me to start another play through.
It would be best to have both. Skyrim where everything you do actually has an impact on the main story leading up to a unique ending.
