So, my I am probably moving from US to UAE for at least a few years. I intend on bringing my US/Region1/NTSC based game consoles and media players with me, but I have some questions.

1) Will my stuff work with a UAE TV set? (PAL or NTSC, etc) Follow-up, if PAL, will my NTSC based stuff even work at all?

2) Can I continue to purchase American based media (region 1) from Amazon and others and have it easily shipped to Abu Dhabi?

3) Have any of you used a service like "myus.com" that gives you a US address and forwards the mail?

I don't want to have to have a friend get stuff and mail it to me nor do I want to have to buy it all on a annual trip back and ship with me as that is kinda annoying. Movies aren't so bad as I can use proxy's to get video streamed content, but, games and such are a bit different. Anything additional you can tell me that is related to gaming and other media, please do so.

Thank!

EDIT: Some items I found answers to...

PS3 has a universal power supply. I can purchase a new plug for the UAE power plug and it will work perfectly.
Wii power supply built into plug, i.e. external to Wii. Also, just purchase UAE power plug and it will work perfectly.

Seems my video concern isn't a real issue. After some research, it appears that as long as the TV is a newer model (mine will be brand new) it will easily take the component and/or HDMI connection and work without issue.

Also, it appears that many US retailers like Amazon and Gamestop ship to UAE without much issue. Of course there is extra fees. Additionally myus.com could work around any other issue. But I still would like to know if anyone has used this service before?
