Everyone loves a good conspiracy theory - and I've got knowledge of a wide range of them to discuss with you - I'll be making a new one of these every week. :)
I'll post up the facts, and then you have to make your own decision on the matter. This week, I want to talk about a topic that raises some interesting questions about the potential for a worldwide free electricity supply, and the possibility of a weapon so powerful that it would effectively end war.
- Nikola Tesla was born in 1856 in present day Croatia. He spent his childhood fascinated by maths and engineering, and at the age of 24 he invented the induction motor.
- 4 years later he went to America to talk with his hero, Thomas Edison. The meeting didn't go well, but Edison still hired Tesla. After a few months, Tesla resigned to work on his system of alternating current.
- 10 years later, Tesla passed away in a New York hotel room. The US government confiscated his notes, and they were held in the office of Alien Papers before eventually being shipped back to Europe... or were they?
- We know that Tesla attempted to create death rays, wireless energy and powerful gyroscopes. But there's one thing we don't know - what was in those papers?
- Many believe that the US government suppressed Tesla's technology; in an interview with the New York Times, Tesla claimed that he had invented a giant death-ray that would effectively end war, since it would be too easy for countries to destroy each other.
- However, his strangest invention was a free, worldwide electricity system. With funding from J.P.Morgan, he built the Wardenclyffe Tower which Morgan hoped would allow for wireless communication across the world; but Tesla had other plans - he wanted to create an energy system that would use the earth as a conductor. If the project worked, it would allow anyone to have electricity, simply by sticking a rod into the ground.
- Unfortunately, free electricity isn't profitable, and this system could be very dangerous for the global elite. Imagine how different the world would be if society didn't need oil and coal to function!
- Tesla's technology didn't necessarily disappear; some believe that the government continues to test these ideas at the HAARP facility in Alaska. (http://www.borderlands.com/newstuff/research/teslahaa.htm)
- There is no way to know for sure what was in Tesla's notes, and whether the government continues to expand on those ideas today. If they are, they're doing a very good job of covering their tracks. However, the US has a reputation for developing secret technology before releasing it to the public, and the same could be happening here.
- Tesla believed in many things, such as extratessestrials and wireless energy, among other things that were yet to be proven to mainstream science, and there is no doubt that he was an incredibly intellegent man and a great scientist. This conspiracy is mainly based around rumours, but there is always the possibility that there is something deeper behind this story.
What do you think? :)
