Just about every aspect of this situation winds me up. Favouring one industry at the cost of everyone else (as the tax break was doing) is clearly the wrong direction to take, but the idea that it's being repealed because of force from the EU... well, that's even worse.
Also, the tax breaks account for 20% of the cost? And that's not the entire tax - just the stuff in the break (unless they had a 100% tax break). It's sad how high taxes are now getting in European nations.
