if you dont want any games for either one why get one? yous hsould wait until something you want to play releases for one of the systems and then you'll want to buy it.
or you can buy one now and when the games you want release on another system complain.
UPDATE: oh well with that kind of money i'd get both 3ds and vita but i guess thats just me.
