Yes, but one response was enough to see what the icon when someone quotes you looks like. Getting that one response and explaining myself was all I wanted. If I intended to start a major flamewar, I would have just started a thread. Which reminds me, I need to come up with a new thread. Something major, but the execution could be troublesome, so I am not sure if it ever materializes. |
That's a sorry excuse and you know it. If you really wanted to see the notification for quotes, you could have easily just asked someone to quote you. You know a few people would have been eager to quote you. But instead, you decide to rile people up in a thread which was going fairly well. I think you had some sort of instinctive pressure to irritate someone at the time. Maybe you didn't want to start a major flamewar, but you did want to cause trouble. You know you were wrong on that one. Maybe you weren't conscious of your actions. Maybe you saw an oppurtunity to troll & you posted that in a reflex like manner. Look deep inside yourself, Rol. That ban was fair.
You ever thought of making an alt to make threads? I know you're concerned with quality entertaining content but I think you must care about fooling noobs too. I think making an alt would be a good way to prevent most of the older members from ruining the intent within the first page, which is all the noobs are likely to read.
