when Sony was saying PSV was sold out in Japan because of pre-orders and people here got excited predicting rediculously high launch numbers : P

see you have your facts all wrong..sony never said psv was sold out..the preorder quota in many shops were reached within hours (some places even less)..this was to be expected since hw enthusists would do so

you are being silly (not evil) if you think sony hasn't made the system interesting..maybe not to the Jp crowd since the sw so far hasn't been aimed at them that much..but to the western crowd? Great hw, reasonable price and amazing launch line up. Vita is VERY interesting..it may not be your cup of tea tho. and despite the idiotic doom and gloomers and butthurt fanboys from early last years sales, going crazy does not mean the system is in trouble...give it a year WW. Then we can do a properk analysis of the situation
