I wasn't that "involved" in a video game story for a long time now, it's an excellent story, and was told very well, the mix between cutscenes / gameplay was perfect to keep you hooked and enjoy the gameplay, the dialogs improved a lot.
I LOVE the characters , Noel is officially my favorite FF character , I like the way how his past was told , It wasn't just told through dialog, we witnessed /experienced it while his theme song was playing in the background .... just wonderful :') .
I also gotta say that I'm impressed with FNC mythology.

It's strange really , it feels like I'm the only one in the world who liked the story by that much.
Never expected to say this but .... looking forward to XIII-3 ( or whatever is coming ).

Well I can respect your opinion on it being a good story, it was not told well and there's no real arguing that point.  I 'got' it, but that didn't mean it was well told.  far too many WtF moments, plot holes or inconsistencies, a lack of information until the end, motivatiosn are never truly clear, the mechanics of how things work are never explained.  

Not well told, and that's not an opinion. 

Oh dear Runa , when I say it was told well ... then it was told well.

People look at things from different angles you know,  you say "lack of information" I say they keeping you thirsty for more , you say " no clear motivations" I'd say it was "Faith" and hope to make a better future ... faith itself is never clear or certain, I'm not aware of any plot holes , "WtF moments" never bothered me ... " the mechanics of how things work" I don't even know what that means :p
