Your assumptions of gender-normative media consumption are unnecessarily limiting the scope of what you see as the inherent appeal of media in general and games in particular. The idea of women not enjoying sci-fi is outmoded, irrelevant, and incorrect. Women have been consuming a greater portion of speculative fiction for decades, and that's bleeding over into other media too.
