well PSeye/kinect and PSmove/Wiimote are based on different concepts, and work differently even though they are allot alike.
yes a product can be patented but if another product that comes out is just like it, but works differently in th way the tech, is used/works then it's not technically a copy.
i was going to make a thread about this gen innovative tech/games ect(scraped cause it was to long).
u see the move works based on a led lights i believe/remember correctly and it's calibration is works with the magnetic pull of the earth (or something like that)
Wii mote o the other hand i believe uses laser lights or something of that nature. it's been so long ago i'm really not sure when it comes to the wii mote, but the one thing everyone should understand is that they work differently, and have different concepts so is a sense they are nothing alike.
