| CGI-Quality said: They're even asked while he's messing with the trailer is it in-game and he says "yes". So basically, while the game-play won't be quite as cinematic / polished, the game should still look about that good. I'm guessing, as good as today's screenshots look, they aren't completely indicative of what the final game will look like. |
The game will not look anywhere near as good as the initial 'trailer' they posted. Look at the opening shot of the trailer and the leaves on the trees. Then look at the trees in the screenshots so far. Look at the clothes on the characters (especially the NPC) and compare them to the screenshots. The initial trailer they posted is total BS. For example pause the initial trailer when the NPC character get's hit with the wood plank. Then compare it to the screenshot of the main character getting hit from actual in game......not even close. The detail on the street in the final shot compared to the street in that screenshot
The initial trailer has nothing to do with how the final game will look
Oh and zarx you are being too harsh on Epic. Their screenshots are no different to naughty dogs. Both like to tweek them up a little, pose characters specially etc. While epic do things like the ashes to ashes video that is all in-game models but specially shot, animated etc etc the Naughty Dog 'in-game' trailer is halfway to being Motorstorm levels of bs.
