The short story here is that it seems like wherever i go, everyone seems to be taken, and this is completely throwing out the window all possible preference on my part. I'm not talking about "single girls that i would want to go out with," but rather "single girls," point-blank. This isn't even an attention-seeking rant, because i'm not really looking for girls at the moment, just keeping my eyes peeled, and happening to notice that all the girls who uprooted their lives to spend a semester abroad here, as well as everyone i seem to know back at my home college, seem to be taken. Hit an American college campus during Spring Break. You'll find out really quick that even the "taken" girls are really still single.
