I already am for PC. The only time I'll buy a retail PC game is if it's priced so low as to essentially be a throwaway purchase.

I currently download licensed content production software direct from the publisher's web site (Autodesk, Adobe). Installation discs are all but irrelevant these days.

The unlimited storage expansion also makes this viable for those with particularly large catalogs of games and who rarely delete game installations.

For consoles, not yet. I'm still content to buy smaller downloadable titles and will on occasion buy a full retail game if priced right, but internal storage expansion is a lot more limited for both the PS3 and particularly for the Xbox 360. For those who buy more than 10 retail games a year on a given system, 500-1,000 GB would be the type of storage capacity needed. More if they store anything but game installations and game save data.

I have no problem with buying anything from the iOS AppStore.

If I were to transition to 100% digital download, I'd need a faster internet connection as well.
