It consistantly loses the last 3 months every year. 2012 may be different, as it might low the whole year this time. With Halo 4 bundles and a price cut coming, I expect the XBox 360 will ship more then 15 million in 2012. If Microsoft can work out a GTA5 bundle as well, things will really cook this year.
