Wat

I think there is a misunderstanding, since what I said completely agrees with what you are saying XD

Oh lord not this again. What is your point? That MH should've launched on PSP, or were you being sarcastic?

If MH does well on anything, why is it lame if it launches on the best-selling portable ever rather than on the successor to the PSP, which it made its success off MH?

In other words, PSP depends on MH, not the other way around. So Capcom is not lame, they are rather quite damn smart!

The real point is that vita MH sales are going to smash 3ds monster hunter sales.

Keep dreaming. The next MH is a port... And MH 4 is coming to 3DS, so who do you think real MH fans will flock to. To refresh your memory, here are the sales for the MH's on PSP:

PosGamePlatformYearGenrePublisherNorth AmericaEuropeJapanRest of WorldGlobal
1 Monster Hunter Freedom Unite PSP 2008 Role-Playing Capcom 0.43 0.46 4.13 0.30 5.32
2 Monster Hunter Freedom 3 PSP 2010 Role-Playing Capcom 0.00 0.00 4.65 0.00 4.65
3 Monster Hunter Freedom 2 PSP 2007 Role-Playing Capcom 0.35 0.23 1.75 0.16 2.50
4 Monster Hunter Freedom PSP 2005 Role-Playing Capcom 0.23 0.00 1.03 0.03 1.29

As Freedom and Freedom 2 show, they didn't always do well on PSP. Since MH 4 is announced for 3DS, assuming it stays exclusive (at least timed exclusive), and with the current Vita base on a low trend, I'd say your prediction sucks.

and 3ds mh3 is 1.16m.

Just you wait. The only people that bought 3ds mh are the diehards, and that's only because they buy EVERY MH. The game probably won't even match the sales of MH2 on psp. Nobody wants the claw or the giant analog attachment. They want it on vita with back-touch camera control.

We should just make it a bet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
