Also are you both planning on playing online? My brother lives 4 hours away, and we've played coop on Crackdown and Gears of War, it's a blast. Now where currently both playing the Halo 3 beta, and can't wait till the full version.  Specially if the 4 player coop is true!

That is a good idea. Allow him to use your 360 for a bit, see if he likes it.

Every system this gen will be getting exclusive games that you won't find on any other system. If there are more exclusives for the PS3, he might want to keep it and possibly save up for a 360. He could be saving money now, since there aren't many games out he is interested in.
