I was at Gamestop this morning, grabbing my copy of Final Fantasy when I saw it--The PSV!! It had playable demos, too! I held of picking up my pre-order to see the console in person. Bigger than I thought but still portable.

I grabbed the console to see how the analogs felt. They jutted out a bit more than I expected and they were loose, just like a Dual Shock. I can work with that. The interface was handled by the touch screen but I prefer using that, anyway. The device felt good!

Here's the thing: You know how, when you see a 3DS game on youtube or you see screenshots? The 3DS game tends to look like shit. When you see a PSV game blown up, it still looks awesome. When you see the same game running on a 3DS or PSV, it looks fantastic.Well, I saw Gravity Daze running on the PSV and it looked great! It just didn't look much better than Res Evil on the 3DS. I didn't give Uncharted a try since GD is my most wanted Vita game. I didn't give any of the other features a try, either.

I'll still be an early adopter and I know the Vita has much more horsepower. When I get time to really play it, I'll likely really notice a graphics jump. I just didn't see it today.
