Not that good actually. Eyes don't see in terms of FPS.

I disagree with you - his question is good. The fundamental issue is how experience would change when our perception-rate is changed. You might belittle the question with a link that illustrates the difference between definitions that relate to his question, but ultimately those discussions have nothing to do with the issue he is probing.

You could attach a camera to yourself and walk around and let it take pictures at 5 fps and then view it as a slight show to see how it'd be like.


That's what one would expect, but...

Even if we could 'see more frames per second' like pigeons, there's no way we could swerve out of the way of moving cars as late and comfortable as they do.

There seems to be a direct link to the experience of time. This cannot be changed for a human being (well, except through some Special Relativity).

Pigeon reaction times are just faster than for us humans. I don't think it has anything to do with their experience of time.

Define reaction time.

Now wouldn't that definition imply a correlation between itself and experience of time ?

Have you seen how fast pigeons look around and peck ? What to speak of those small fruit birds that fly from branch to branch quicker than a human eye can even distinguish.
