That's not hardware. The author is definitely talking about the hardware and features. Have you forgotten the 3DS situation before the price cut and Mario?

Well, without proper software that uses the advantages of the hardware, what's the point of superp hardware? I just wanted to point out, that the best handheld ever should be defined by the software, even when talking about hardware. Sounds weird? Perhaps, but the 3D effect of the 3DS is a good example imo, without creative use of the 3D it's a worthless hardware advantage of the 3DS. And the graphic power of the Vita could be worthless too, if it only gets lazy ports of the marketleader 3DS.

facepalm..do you really lack that much knowledge or are you just dragging these out of your ass just for the heck of it?
there will always be some lazy ports ..on ANY system. but so far the majority of 'ports' for psv have been of the highest quality with many of them including a lot of extra content and features.
and if you think the sw shown so far have not taken advantage of the hw then..you haven't seen the games properly. again there will be some games that won't fully utlize it..especially when the hw is just launching..like you see psp look a like games on the 3ds but that's not the case with every game..definitely not the case with most of the games on the psv so far
