Living relatively near Yosemite Park, which is a super volcano, has always made me worry about when it erupts and completely wipes out 1/2 of the US and starts a very bad series of global events. No, this is not just a bad plot from a movie, but a real possibility. |
It is an underground volcano? Actually I am not really familiar with the area. Is there a mountain there that people are worried about or are you talking about all those geysers there? If you are talking about the geysers then I would have to say I never thought about that being part of a volcano. Crazy stuff!

Not really. The entirety of yellow stone national park is one large caldera.. i.e. top of the volcano. Its a super volcano (one of only a few in the world) and capable of wiping out a significant portion of life on the planet if/when it erupts.
