Still too early to doom the Vita even if it failed in Japan. There's still the rest of the world. Japan's only 1 out of the 200 countries out there.

But it's the most important country where PSP was relevant. PSP died in Europe and USA, but had a healthy life in Japan, losing Japan is a very important blow to Sony.

It hasn't "lost" Japan. Give it time and a few great games and sales will skyrocket just like they did for 3DS. It's not like 3DS was the hottest device ever before the big hits came out

Yup, it's true that Sony can recover it, it will be very tough, but they can.
