The pixel density is important when browsing and stuff, while in UI it doesn't matter. If you are OK with it, then Titan 2 should be more than enough.

Is that really a deal breaker though? I mean I use the ipad 2 every night to catch up on news blogs atc...and it has horrible pixel density according to the 'standard' people expect is acceptable. I really don't have any issues reading the smallest letters on it...

I mean, HTC titan still has a 200 ppi density...which is much higher than the ipad 2, and higher than cool things like the 8K TV which Sharp showed at CES which everyone was drooling over.

True that other devices have higher ppi desnity, but I begin to wonder if this is one of those 'who cares'  things...like when people say a TV is better cause its half an inch thick versus 1 inch.

It is definitely not a deal breaker, but it is important if you read a lot. Sure, Iphone 4's resolution is useless, 480x800 would make barely any difference on such a tiny screen. But go under 240ppi and you start to zoom in and out a lot, which makes browsing less enjoyable.

The comparison to other devices doesn't work because Ipad has a bigger screen, zooming in is much easier, and you look at the other devices from at least a few meters away.
