For both Sega and Nintendo, third parties were quick to leave when the consoles didn't have momentum, will they rescue it like the PS3, or let it die like the Saturn/Gamecube/Dreamcast? |
Eastern third parties seem to have no problem developing on Nintendo handhelds (consoles being another matter, hence the PS3 "rescue"), while Western third parties seem quite content to drop handheld support altogether and focus their non-console (and non-full-scale PC) efforts in the realm of free-to-play or mobile
In short, i don't see anyone coming around to try to salvage the Vita, or at least not in any significant way. It will stand or fall based on Sony's efforts

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
