Maybe if they produced and sold games like Nintendo then they wouldn't worry about the small percentage of people that pirate. DRM, online passes, etc.. only harm actual consumers and does little to nothing to prevent piracy and used game sales. You could argue that online passes might prevent used sales but I highly doubt it does by much. If anything I could find a used copy of a game 10-15 dollars cheaper on Amazon than Gamestop. Thus the 10-15 dollars savings over Gamestop used game price can be then used to purchase online pass. Basically, the strategy didn't do shit.
