The only measure I use to give a score it's how much time I've used their systems.
Nintendo: 8.5/10
While they always have their issues with outdated online, the lack of 3rd party support and Metroid Other M, the DS and Wii are the consoles I used and enjoyed the most by a large mile. I had great time with both new and old games, thanks to retro-compatibility and virtual console. I had lots of multiplayer fun.
Sony: 6/10
Ps2 was my favourite console last gen, this time due to the focus, of many 3rd party developers and Sony itself, to produce cinematic gimmicks instead of games I found the Ps3 much less appealing.
I used my ps3 a lot to play movies and music, something I could have done with a common media player. Not to mention my ps3 broke down 3 times (first 2 times before warranty expired). A month ago, I was lucky and managed to gat a new one for free.
They deserve a +1 score because they have co-published Demon's Souls, then they deserve a -1 score because of cell and their rush to publish unfinshed games being key factors to how Liar and Haze turned out, causing Factor5 and FreeRadical to fail.
Microsoft 4/10
They have made an huge improvement from the last generation in terms of games, still I don't want to pay to play online. Also I'd like a console to last at least a couple of years before it gets burned. I don't like Halo but they have made a good job with Forza Motorsport.
