Brand recognition sells. Nintendo has Mario so despite all changes to the handheld sector done by smartphones, Nintendo will be fine given their time tested proven franchises. I said nothing about quality.

And I am a 360 console gamer but a Nintendo handheld one too

The comparison said nothing about sales. 

These comparisons lead to sales. They always do.
