i know.. i just am disapointed with it really, on paper its amazing! but there seems to be something missing from every game coming out. are you buying first day? |
I too was disappointed that several games at launch are lacking online modes that I feel should've been included, in particular a multiplayer competitve mode for Uncharted, but I also know thats these are only launch titles and games such as the new resistance have shown multiplayer snippets, so I'm hopeful that this is just a launch title phase, and not necessarily indicative of games to come. Especially with a call of duty coming for it which I couldnt be more excited for, there will be plenty of games with multiplayer functionality. As long as there are games at launch or even psp games that you never played that you wish to experience, I would say to go for it granted you have the budget and aren't sacrificing other things atm.
The only way I would say to wait is if youre maybe more interested in what nintendo is offering with the 3ds, I managed to hold off until the zelda edition came out and am pleasantly surprised, its an amazing handheld and there are a few games coming out soon that I will definitely be getting for it such MGS3, Kid Icarus which looks batshit crazy, and the new kingdom hearts. Despite this, I'll be pickin a Vita up day one because I have about 15 psone games I havent touched and have waited for the Vita for, and several psp games that I never finished as well as the new uncharted, gravity rush, escape plan, warriors lair and the fact that I want to provide my support. I wouldn't worry about sony dropping support either, there are far too many projects in the pipeline for it to fail IMO, and as soon as they get a killer ip out in japan we can stop reading all these damn "Vita slumps further" articles all over the internet. Dont let that stop you.
