Resistance: Fall Of Man was the first FPS I ever owned, they were not my thing in the PS2 era. I enjoyed it very much, along came Resistance 2 and I was one of the few people who enjoyed it more than the first one, and to be honest I still don't get why it was so badly received by some, but alas it did do some major damage to the Resistance brand. I enjoyed the 8+ hours I put into R3 before my PS3 got the YLOD, I still haven't been able to bring myself around to playing it again. It'll do fine in the long run, by the way. I expect it to be north of 2.5million when it's all said and done.
As for, Insomniac. It'll be interesting to see how Sony treats them now that they're a 3rd party developer. Will they allow them to continue and create Ratchet & Clank games? Or will they let someone else have a go at it. Personally, I hope they give Ratchet & Clank a rest for awhile.
