I don't believe IGN's report that the 6670 provides the performance increase they suggest the 6670 does over the Xenos. So I'm not sure how credible it is.
Secondly, It wouldn't be the PowerPC6 or 7. Those were 32-bit processors. Instead it would be the Power6 or Power7 class CPU. In terms of performance, the Power7 provides better performance at lower frequencies (GHz) than the Power6. However, I'm sure the Power6 class of CPU comes cheaper. It's just a Power6 processor would likely run hotter and use more energy than a Power7 processor.
