That is if you don't know what you're doing. I prefer my PC. Everything loads faster, I absolutely hate the loading times on consoles. I also enjoy customizing my PC. Consoles are what the publishers want. They want a closed platform where they can continue to feed the uninformed consumer piles of crap. There really is no advantage to having a console other than maybe price. Even then, I made my PC for the price of 400 dollars and I can run games better than consoles. On top of that, I can browse the web while gaming, I can have a conversation with someone easily, I can avoid paying for multiplayer, I can use the lovely service of steam, I can have better voice chat, I can play high end PC exclusives. All the while having an Xbox 360 and Wii. I am gonna own a Wii U when it comes out too. Considering the next Sony and Microsoft console will only be about 20% more powerful than the Wii U, think PS2 vs Gamecube levels. Yes the gamecube was 20% more powerful than the PS2 hardware wise. Didn't stop the PS2 from topping the charts did it now? I will be able to play most of the console exclusives I enjoy on the Wii U, while being able to play my PC games. Win/Win in my opinion owning a Gaming PC and consoles.
