wow...since nothing that can easily be misconstrued is being said, no one is commenting?

Oh, right. Sorry about that. Let's go through this list. I apologize for a kinda messy post in advance.

  • The Last of Us will share the core technology of last year’s super hit game: Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception with a few changes.
Uncharted 3 wasn't exactly a super hit game, it got most of its sales through massive bundling.
  • The Last of Us will focus more on non-verbal communication thereby putting more emphasis on facial expressions.
In other words, the "super hit game" Uncharted 3 didn't bring in any money, so Naughty Dog has to cut back on voice actors.
  • The actor’s voices will be captured along with their physical movement, similar to what Naughty Dog have done in the Uncharted franchise.
Similarly, yes. But not on the same scale as in the Uncharted franchise, because the money isn't there anymore.
  • The VGA 2011 trailer was actually planned to be shown at E3 2011, showing an unarmed Ellie.
But Sony got cold feet, because the awesome 360 lineup for 2012 was already getting too good. Therefore they had to showcase the game much earlier than originally planned.
  • With The Last of Us, Naughty Dog will try to explain ‘something’ about human beings and how they exist.
Purposefully kept vague, because at this point not even Naughty Dog knows what they want to do with this game.
  • The Last of Us will take place across several cities in America.
This is why non-Americans despise America. Such a high level of patriotism is unhealthy.
  • The Last of Us will see Naughty Dog transitioning to awesome environments and minimalist story telling.

As opposed to Uncharted's lame environments and misguided notions that Nathan Drake falling through every floor in the game = storytelling?

I will except your opinion if you've played an Uncharted game.
