In the US you have something like a 40% chance to develop some kind of cancer.  So that 4 latin leaders developed cancer doesn't seem too farfetched.

Thanks to a shitty US "diet" of processed foods and fats.  If USA citizens actually ate what they were supposed to eat (fruits and veggies) then cancer rates would be far less.   I blame the horrible USA food intake for most of the health "problems".

Hehe, so true. the Mcdonalds type chain restaurants are dangerous foods to eat. They have all sorts of chemicals and transfats in them that lead to cancers and heart disease - not to mention all the excess fat in them that leads to obesity which also contributes to a variety of health issues.

Would I be accurate by saying in the US being skinny is considered an eating disorder while it is impolite to say that fat people have a disorder?

Yep, they labeled obesity as a disease with the person being at little fault for their own actions.  While some health conditions can lead to increase in weight or slight obesity there is zero excuse to be morbidly obese.
