Wha? Not nominating Crysis 2 is crazy. Personally I still think Crysis 2 was the best of the year. Being able to pick up light sources and have them illuminate everything, cast real time shadows etc. I would put U3 and GeoW3 on the same level and KZ3 a bit below. Kinda hard to pick between them. Uncharted 3 is utterly beautiful and has the best environments and cinematic moments but doesn't quite have the scale and actual gameplay graphics of GeoW3, both have great attention to detail. Sand running off drake, Characters in gears recoiling when bullets hit nearby. KZ3 is very impressive but I feel it's just nice looking graphics with no soul or nice design. Can't believe some sites wouldn't even nominate Crysis 2 though. However I suspect it's because a lot of the time multiplatform games (especially those leading on PC) seem to get overlooked in favour of exclusives. I mean for how average the game was RAGE looked fantastic, especially enemy animations.

Crysis 2 was the shit technically, who the hell didn't nominate it?! They deserve to be punished...
Also glad to see Prey 2 added to the nomination list, I'm really looking forward to that game!

GameTrailers, Spike and IGN out of the top of my head went all to UC3. Crysis 2 wasn't nominated on GT and Spike. BF3 PC version was nominated in GT and yet lost to UC3 and there's many many more. GameReactor Sweden claims Crysis 2 is the best looking video game on the PC but it lacks in comparison to Uncharted 3, Uncharted 2, Killzone 3, God of War 3 and Gears of War 3. I think it's no revelation that a lot of sites don't acknowledge the PC hence UC3's utter domination.

Thing is.. I think they reward the developers for bringing shit out of consoles because we already know the PC can rape EVERYTHING. Imagine if I invested my whole ..investments lol on a PC, and got the absolute best experience from Crysis 2 with mods or BF3. Instead they are looking like:
Okay so game consoles.. Damn Naughty Dog is truly shitting on everyone on the PS3; and thats quite a bold claim as all other years have gone to PS3 exclusives, so in general it is actually shitting all over console gaming in general.
Add that with the fact that we go through a Chateu thats burning down, A fucking desert, a cruise ship and much more: It's just made to make you go "wow".
It's really what makes sense because nobody can say any console game looks better than the best PC game. That's just obvious. I think its so obvious that they actually don't focus on it either.. if that even makes sense xD. But yeah, ignore PC games much gaming journalists.
I can't complain though. What ND did with UC3 mind fucked me so hard I could feel the tip of ND's large thick ... ... weiner XD
