Did you watch the video about it? These new interactive textbooks can only work devices with multitouch screens and for acidemic purposes, using something like an iPad would be more practical than a laptop. Also, they introduced new software that makes designing textbooks quicker and easier, which aside from digitizing the text book, quicker production times would make textbooks far less expensive to make.
