Their biggest advantage is also their biggest disadvantage. Anonymous isn't a group of people. It's a collective. Meaning that attacks can't be traced back to a single group. This also means that members can go rogue and announce attacks in Anons name even if other members are against. People will blame the Anonymous even though it's the single member's fault. I suspect this is the case here.
Anon stated several times that if they hack the PSN again, they won't compromise gameplay and they stated they will never hack Facebook or Twitter because they communicate over it. These are members going nuts over their ego after the successful hack yesterday, I wouldn't give a damn about it.
