Well critic reviews is one thing, but the main thing is that it's just not the best of the best anymore, there was an unbelievable amount of hype around it and after what, 6 years in development? It finally came out and it was very good, but it was not the masterpiece people were expecting.

Was the game really that bad? One of the main complaints I heard that DLCs killed the game, cause alot of the content you had to purchase separately from the game in order to get maximum satisifaction.

Huh? Wasn't bad at all (see bolded), just didn't live up to the incredibly high expectations and didn't blow away the competition is what I was trying to say.
Wouldn't know about the DLC, never bought it :P
