Well . I think sony messed up when they refused to announce it earlier then they did
they kept putting it off saying one wasn't coming when in reality it really was!
poor planning . and yea its that easy to create a fiasco like that in the handheld market against Nintendo make no mistake about it.
you give Nintendo the time of day to one up you in the market. its like nascar . if you give a driver as good as Jeff gordon a free 1 lap ahead advantage hes going to exploit that . if a caution did not waive
same theory here if Nintendo don't mess up or correct any mistakes before the time arrives.
your in trouble. its that simple
there has been enough competitors that have failed to master the important things a handheld must have .
1 is good battery life -Nintendo edged out Sony on this one according to an article i found here on this site
2 exclusive good well known games. -Sony released a few new IP's but again do they work . they have to or this is not going to pan out well .
3 pricing. sure the bare price of the vita was the same as 3 DS launch price .for wifi-only model . but
as soon as they announced that you needed a memory card to boot a game people had to account for that. and since Nintendo had time to spare just like I explained earlier Sony gave Nintendo that advantage . --they cut the price . got the games needed .
if Vita comes out with what it got and Sony doesn't announce titles for it quick. just like Nintendo did . to fix the situation it's not guaranteed to get better
all lies in the hands of Sony right now give it some time. but in japan . time is a ticking
in the US lets wait
