I knew their CES "announement" was wrong. That on top of the fact that they never announced Xbox 360 was the best selling console worldwide. Journalists twisted their words.

I doubt its going to go so easily. THe only thing we know for sure is :

1. MS did not ship or sell over 66 million like they claimed

We have no idea how many PS3 Sony shipped, just that they sold 3.9 million in the holidays. 

I'm guessing 6.5 to 6.9 million shipped

I think most all agree on it now actually, unless Sony post some weird Q4 numbers which is unlikely. As long as they ship 7m~ then it's confirmed Sony sold the most.

That's the fun thing. We just never know.
